Duke of Edinburgh Club

This programme equips young people with life skills to make a difference to themselves, their communities and the world. It comprises of lessons, discussions and demonstrations in the field. Participants are expected to compliment the instruction received through reading and research on their own. The group understands that it is a process of personal and social development and the activities students are engaged in are a means to an end. Young people learn from the new experiences they have and discover hidden capabilities and talents.  The club was created to allow students who begin the programme in secondary school an avenue to facilitate the completion of the award program. The club allows for forums in community service, skill development, physical fitness and expeditions/explorations. It creates a social environment that allows students with similar interest to interact, creating an atmosphere of encourgement, experience sharing and problem solving.
