The Food and Nutrition School Based Assessment (SBA) focuses on developing entrepreneur skills and the usage of local foods to create products that meet industry standards. The big chef steakhouse accepted an invitation to demonstrate the preparation of both yeast and quick breads (as stated in the SBA guidelines). Big Chef Steakhouse met the criteria for packaging and labeling which was required by the SBA.
Mr. Joinville of the Big Chef Steakhouse felt it necessary to give back to his almamater by awarding two gift vouchers of Two hundred and Fifty Dollors ($250) to the best performing students for this CSEC SBA.
